a wedding photographer in Rome

not a classic photographer

Several photographers talk about the importance to tell love stories  through candid moments that will last forever. Pretty cliché isn’t it?

In all honesty, I did it too. However, with time and dedication, I have grown to think of myself as your personal storyteller, coming to your door with the tools of the trade, to celebrate your romance and most important day of your lives – through his unique visual voice.

Should I have the privilege to honor that day, you can be sure I will be there in first person alongside my talented supporting cast.

Meanwhile, feel free to keep on browsing through my photographs. I truly hope to hear from you soon.

My approach

exciting moment of the bride before the ceremony

Images to me are like bricks that together build a photographic story, a set of moments that capture the sincerity and pure emotion of a such an important day.

Several small pieces of the mosaic of your history

This is my approach

I live on the eastern outskirts of Rome, with a lovely woman who has been beside me for the past 30 years. I was born in 1967, the year of Sgt Pepper – Yes I am a Beatles’ fan and I spend most of my free time with Dustin, the most awesome golden retriever of the planet.

Music was my first love, first as musician, currently as a photographer.  I have portrayed major international stars and created album covers for several artists. My images appear on multiple fine publications worldwide.

Once I fell in love with lifestyle and wedding photography, I could no longer stop. Here I am striving to tell stories about beauty and happiness.

Naively, I could say because I like it.

Indeed, what I love is to visually celebrate the people who share those moments with me. Memories are a precious heritage and it is a honor to contribute as an image maker to this legacy.

My goal as a photographer is to make people happy and imprint unforgettable moments at which to look back.

I have a fairly simple idea: document your special day, transgressing the canons of wedding photography.

I don’t want to leave you with some pictures. My purpose is to make you speechless through a work of art encapsulating the essence of who you are as a couple above and beyond the stories you might see.

My job is to frame colors, light and emotions that render those days unique and unforgettable.

I gained almost all of my professional training working at the Officine Fotografiche in Rome. Since 2007 I have been working as a music photographer on both the national and international scenes. In 2014,  I was chosen by the  Rolling Stones as their Italian photographer for their concert held at the Circo Massimo in Rome. In recent years, I have created several album covers and images for booklets featuring Italian performers such as: NesliNoemiFabrizio MoroJovanottiVelvetNina Zilli and many others.  My photos have been published on prestigious national and international magazines such as: Rolling StoneThe Wall Street JournalForbesThe ObserverGuitar USThe GuardianClassic Rock USAClassic Rock ItaliaMusic RadarSE Norway and many others. Music is my life, together with my first love: the lifestyle wedding photography in Rome

My archive is distributed by the Contrasto agency, a reference point for quality photography. This group of photographers with whom I collaborate not only works in close contact with the world of information and culture in general, but also it makes it possible for Contrasto to maintain its key role in the fine art photography field. The extremely wide range of activities that it covers (the production and distribution of images for journalism, for advertising and corporate purposes, for fashion and the publishing industry, archives and online consultation) is guaranteed also by the numerous organisations it represents, including Magnum Photos, the outstanding agency founded by Robert Capa and Henri Cartier-Bresson.Contrasto Agency
