Are you searching for your wedding photographer for the intimate destination wedding in a beautiful village in Italy?
Well, It’s a great Idea. Your wedding in Italy could be a dream, a fairy tale, something unforgettable.
What I wish to show you, is this particular shabby chic destination wedding in Italy, very simple but intense, of Charissa and Rob, two amazing guys from Holland, that gave me the privilege to be their wedding photographer in Italy
They have chosen Italy, particularly Marche, very close to the well known Tuscany, a small region in Central Italy, for their perfect day.
The small town you will see in my wedding picture, is Sarnano.
“Sarnano, a pretty town not far from Macerata, is a renowned health resort, both treatment and holiday spot, but also a center dedicated to winter sports with lots of peculiarities from an historical, artistic and above all environmental point of view.
The town centre is strongly divided into the hill ancient medieval village, excellently restored and well-preserved, and the modern town, that is growing on the opposite hill.
It rises at 539 meters above the sea level, and the town territory expands for 64 square kilometers, boasting a different altitude from the 400 meters of the Schito community ad from the almost 2000 meters of Castel Manardo.
It has about 3400 inhabitants, but during tourist seasons (summer: July and August; thermal season: mid-season; winter: from Christmas period to March) the number of people increase a lot.
The history of the town is important as it has marked exciting moments and has left an unique heritage for Marche region, like the Library that, together with the Pinacotheca, has really rare and valuable findings.
Still searching for a destination wedding photographer in Italy?
Also all the memories left by eminent people are important: among those there is Saint Francis who has spent some days there, staying at Roccabruna and Soffiano and meeting the Bruneforte family in Campanotico.
There are several natural properties in that territory, like the fresh and healthy mineral waters, the territory rich in woods and streams, mountains with panoramic paths and steep slopes where people can do lots of activities and winter sports during that season.
The beauty and the quality of life of this town of vacation and winter sports, have allowed Sarnano to win the “Bandiera Arancione” award of the Italian Touring Club and made it entering the prestigious “Borghi più belli d’Italia” club ( a club joined by the most beautiful villages of Italy).”
So, I am a destination wedding photographer based in Rome, but I love so much to travel around Italy for that kind of intense destination wedding. They were so beautiful, so sweet.
They will stay in my heart, for sure.
During this destination wedding in a beautiful village, I had the privilege to work with Tiziana Niespolo, a good friend and a great photographer.
